In reply to Ann. You can do either manual or natural release. I like to add it back to the pot for a couple minutes just to ensure it is cooked through.

This is the best chicken tortilla soup! Full of flavor! I use the Feasting at Home chicken stock recipe for it.

Should we do instant release or natural release once the time is done when cooking with the Instapot? Also, after shredding the chicken is it necessary to return it to the instapot and put the whole thing on sautee for a few minutes as mentioned ? Or can we just add back the chicken, stir, and serve ?
